Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Webdec ("Webdec", "we", "us"), operator of the Webdec platform at webdec.ai and related domains (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Webdec lets you describe a website and uses AI to generate, edit, and host it on a Webdec subdomain or your own custom domain, with optional plugins (e.g. e-commerce, booking). AI-generated output may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing any site before publishing it.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for your account credentials and all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

3. Acceptable use

Your use of the Service and any content you generate or host must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. We may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that violate it.

4. Your content & ownership

You retain ownership of the content and websites you create ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service and to host your published sites. You represent that you have the rights to Your Content and that it does not infringe third-party rights.

5. Plans, generations, tokens & billing

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) via Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
• Usage is metered in "generations" (tokens). Subscription tokens reset each billing period; separately purchased token packs do not expire.
• You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Plan limits apply immediately on downgrade.
• Except where required by applicable law, fees are non-refundable; your statutory consumer rights (such as EU/UK withdrawal rights) are unaffected.
• Prices may change; we will give reasonable notice before changes affecting your renewal.
• Custom-domain registrations are one-time purchases provided via a third-party registrar and are subject to that registrar's terms.

6. Hosting & availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted Service except where an explicit SLA is stated for your plan. We may perform maintenance and may impose reasonable technical limits.

7. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access (including taking down hosted sites) if you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if required by law, or to protect the Service or others. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

8. Disclaimers

The Service and AI-generated output are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that output is accurate, lawful, or fit for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Webdec will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Webdec against claims arising from Your Content, your sites, or your breach of these Terms.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified (e.g. by email or in-app). Your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction in which Webdec is established, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
