Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of our Terms of Service and governs the content you generate and the websites you host with Webdec. We host sites on shared infrastructure and under shared domains, so abuse harms other customers — we enforce this policy strictly.
Prohibited content & conduct
You may not use Webdec to create, host, or distribute:
- Illegal content, or content that facilitates illegal activity.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualises minors — reported to authorities.
- Phishing, credential harvesting, scams, fraud, or impersonation of others or brands.
- Malware, ransomware, spyware, exploit kits, or instructions to create them.
- Content infringing intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or deceptive SEO/cloaking.
- Content that promotes violence, terrorism, self-harm, or unlawful sale of weapons or controlled substances.
- Harassment, hate speech, or content that is defamatory or threatening.
- Attempts to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or other systems, or to circumvent usage limits.
- Crypto-mining or other resource-abuse not part of a legitimate website.
Enforcement
We may, at our discretion and where appropriate without prior notice, remove content, suspend or take down hosted sites, and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this AUP. Where the law requires, we cooperate with authorities.
Reporting abuse
To report a site hosted on Webdec that you believe violates this policy, email [email protected] with the URL and details, or use our abuse-report form. We review reports promptly. Include the full URL and the reason for the report.
